Cooking With Cricut Holiday Blog Hop Challenge

Ok everyone, sorry for the long gap between posts, but I've been really busy with kids, family and the holidays. But...I wanted to share with you my entry into the Cooking With Cricut Holiday Blog Hop Challenge. Only requirements were a holiday themed item created for the challenge and that it must include something cut from my cricut, wether it be from a cart or an svg. So here is my entry. I had had this idea in my head for awhile and finally sat down to make it. It is a 3 part stackable snowman box. Each of the 3 pieces is an individual box. I created the svg for each piece including the arms, nose, and label on the front of his belly. I then inked and embellished it, added the cute saying and assembled him. I love the way it turned out, and I hope you do too!

Owl always love you!

Ok, still crazy around here, but here's a new file for you all. I created this for a baby album I'm working on and the  parents to be are doing an owl themed nursery. It's layered for scal2 if you need a scal1 version, please email me! Hope you like it. I've a few more things I've been working on, so hopefully I'll post some more later this week. You'll have to see the gorgeous shadow box that I made. I was inspired by Penny Duncan at Penny Duncan Creations.  I made it for my mom's 55th birthday this weekend. Tri Shutter Cards

Ok here is a simple svg for a tri shutter card and for a full front tri shutter card. It is created in layers. The cutting size should be 12"x5.5", so after importing it, make sure you select keep porportions and size it accordingly. It has a layer for the score lines and a layer for cutting the design paper to fit. Just remeber to open your layers palette and to hide these accordingly. The password is iagreeto. New File! Lacy Ribbon Label

Hello everyone! How have you all been? I'm so sorry for being MIA for this long, life's just been a little crazy around here! To make up for it though, I am posting 2 new files today. The first is a great oval shape perfect for cards. It is made to be used with ribbon. If you cut it at 4" wide it will accomodate a 1/2" ribbon and cut at 2" it will accomodate a 1/4" ribbon. I will post the other file shortly and will probably be back later with some pics too! As always, the download password is iagreeto.

New Endeavor - The Chic Boutique

Well, I've been contemplating this for awhile and have decided to jump in. I have been out of work for about six months now and need to make some extra money to help out. It's nice being home with my kiddos and this will hopefully help me to stay home a little longer, enjoy them and what I LOVE to do. Create!

So now along with my free files that I post, I will also have files available for purchase. They will be at very reasonable prices for my own creations. I hope that you all like them! I will of course continue to offer free files as that is what I love to do. The ones for purchase will be files that have taken a little longer to create, but will be affordable.

So my first file up for purchase in the Chic Boutique is a card file. I created it as an A2 sized card (5.5"x4.25" when folded) It has lilies along the edge and would make a very nice sympathy card or birthday card. It is in svg format. I am in the process of learning how to convert my files into other formats for other cutters. So please become a follower and stay tuned! Cherry Blossom Frame

Todays file is a 3 layer cherry blossom frame. There is the pink bottom layer, the green middle layer, and the top brown layer, and when they are layered together, you will get the look shown here. CAlifornia Palms

Sorry I've been MIA, but that's what happens during the summer and you live where the temps are 110-125 daily! You seek out water! My oldest is on the swim team and my littlest is in lessons. I have also been helping out with this years design/set up for our swim team awards banquet. This year it's muscle beach. We keep a secret from the kids so it a surprise and we do a different theme each year. We will be serving boardwalk fare for the food and have cotton candy, popcorn, and preztles. I think the kids are going to love it!
